MAN Truck & Bus SE is a subsidiary of Traton (Volkswagen), one of the leading international providers of commercial vehicles like vans, trucks, goods vehicles, coaches, and city buses. The aftersales organization is a full daughter of the group owning hundreds of workshops in Europe, Asia, and Africa, providing warranty services, maintenance, and repairs.
As part of an operational efficiency increase and process digitalization project, wifi became necessary inside and outside many international workshops. Based on the high requirements, every workshop needed an individual coverage assessment, combined into country-level tenders and managed based on priority, time, and costs. A specific challenge formed the management of the 19 country-specific sub-projects from the perspective of culture, availability, and integration with other regional projects.
